Children & Young People
Helping children understand the world within them.
Real change starts within.
Children don’t always have the words to tell us what is happening inside.
Worry might look like avoidance.
Sadness might look like anger.
Overwhelm might look like challenging behaviour.
I believe behaviour is communication.
Instead of asking:
“How do we stop this behaviour?”
I believe we should first ask:
“What is this child trying to communicate?”
Children are learning constantly — from their experiences, their relationships and the adults around them.
Rana’s Reflection
“Before we try to change what a child is doing, let’s try to understand what the child is experiencing — and what they might be learning from us.”— Rana Fathali
Real change starts within.
